FIRST TIMERS

Is this your first time attending the annual MPRA Conference? We are so glad to have you! This page is just for you. Check out the tips and inside info below.

 

DOWNLOAD THE CONFERENCE APP​

  • Be sure to download the conference app prior to arriving. You will receive an invite to the app from noreply@rdmobile.com with instructions through the email address provided when you register. If you have not received that email invite one week before conference, please contact the MPRA office. You can use the conference app to create your schedule for the week, connect with other attendees, post photos, receive important alerts, access session handouts, give feedback, and much more!

REGISTRATION​

  • When you arrive at the conference, visit the MPRA registration desk to get your name badge, meal tickets, and other conference materials you will need to navigate through the week. If you have any additional questions throughout your time at conference, feel free to stop by the MPRA desk during the hours listed in the MPRA Conference App. ​

  • Name badges are required for all events (sessions, meals, expo, etc.) so wear it with pride all week. We recommend you keep your meal tickets with your name badge, so you don’t miss any of the fun!

ATTEND CONFERENCE 101​​

  • The MPRA Young Professional Section offers a Conference 101 session that you won't want to miss. This session will better prepare you for what to expect during the week of the conference and how to get the most out of your time with us. We highly recommend attending this session!​​​

NEEDING CEUS?​

  • If you need CEUs (Continuing Education Units), a CEU card will be in your packet. Bring this card with you to all the sessions you attend. We recommend completing CEU information on both your conference app and the CEU card. This ensures you will receive credit for all sessions you attend. Detailed instructions are printed on the CEU card and will be shared by the room host before each session begins. ​

EDUCATION SESSIONS ARE A MUST!​

  • Take notes! You are going to be given so much information throughout the week so you will want to take notes so that you remember everything you learned.​

ATTEND SOCIALS​

  • Socials are a great way to have fun and network with your peers from around the state. Bring plenty of business cards and be ready to talk about your unique job.​​​​​​

​VISIT THE EXHIBIT HALL​

  • When visiting the Exhibit Hall, have your business cards available as well. Visiting the exhibit hall is a valuable activity that will connect you with over one hundred potential vendors. The sponsors and exhibitors help offset the cost for you to attend conference, make it worth their time by visiting with them for all four hours of the expo!

WANT TO BRING A FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND WITH YOU?​

  • We have extra meal and social tickets available for purchase if they would like to join us. Please order all tickets in advance through the MPRA website or by contacting our office. Tickets are not available on-site.​
